Etorki began working with 3M many years before the American multinational took over the Winterthur Technologie Group AG , to which the world-renowned manufacturers Slip-Naxos and Rappold Winthertur belonged. Etorki has been the exclusive representative of both companies in Spain and Portugal since 1985 and 1995 respectively.
3M has a long history and extensive technological know-how in the manufacture and application of abrasive products for the steel and foundry industry. This part of the portfolio has been produced for 100 years in the factory in Västervik (Sweden) and for almost 150 years in the factory in Villach (Austria), with the production of cutting-off wheels and vitrified or resin bonded grinding wheels for precision grinding.
Developing customised products for customers requires close collaboration with factory technicians; this is where Etorki’s expertise is critical, due to the technical specifications and after-sales service it provides.

SIAPI
Siapi was founded in 1929 as a supplier of auxiliary products for the mechanical industry (grinding wheels, industrial diamonds, cutting oil). In 1971 its main activity became the production of grinding wheels.
Very versatile grinding wheels are obtained thanks to the physical properties obtained from the mixture of cork and rubber. Usually employed on centerless grinders, they are also used on flat and universal grinders for operations with high finishing requirements.
In addition, in 2020 it launches the range of shank mounted points (as well as cut-off wheels and files) made of cork/rubber for manual and automatic applications.
Etorki collaborates very closely with SIAPI. As a result of this collaboration, numerous grinding wheels have been custom-designed for customers with a very high demand for precision and performance.

Etorki commercializes bonded and coated abrasives for all industrial applications under its own brand Udala®.

ZIRKUT®
Seeking to satisfy the demands of the foundry and deburring sector in snagging operations with high performance abrasive discs, Etorki develops and manufactures the range of Zirkut® brand discs with own technology.
The abrasive mix we use as base, zirconium oxide, guarantees a much higher cutting capacity than that obtained with traditional blends. It also ensures longer dics life thanks to the wear resistance of the zirconium grains.
